Marjorie (Peg) Lake lives in Turramurra and has been designing, drawing, painting and writing all her life.  Peg was busy designing houses at the age of 12 years.  Her “Round House” was indeed ahead of its time.  Peg qualified in Fashion Design from Melbourne’s RMIT in the early forties. Indeed her work was published in the Womens Weekly at the time.  

She is very fond of chickens.At the age of 93, in 2015 she authored, illustrated and published her first children’s book.  She has gone on to create two new books which are are now in pre press production.Her first book, Runaway Daisy is based on a ‘true’ story of her beloved chickens and their friends.
