We met this week away from our normal meeting venue -- and joined the St Edmunds staff at the school in Wahroonga for breakfast. The meeting was treated to several highlights firstly an address by Simone Kiprioti--Senior Programme KLA Co-ordinator who has taught at St. Edmund’s College for the past 10 years and has worked mainly with the Years 11 and 12 students in the work skills area.

Simone has coordinated the Work Experience and TAFE program and written courses such as Pathways to Work; a course specifically tailored to the student’s need for independence post school. At present she is teaching a course called Community and Family Studies which teaches essential skills for the student’s transition into Adulthood.

Secondly a wonderful musical piece from Students.
