Australian in Space

In 1967, Australia became one of the earliest nations to launch its own satellite, when WRESAT (Weapons Research Establishment Satellite) soared into orbit from the Woomera Rocket Range, on a rocket generously donated by the United States. This talk will present the fascinating story of how WRESAT came about-and what it meant to Australia at the time.

Crossing the Delaware

Currently Head of Enrolments at Knox Grammar School.

From a Gippsland wool-growing family, but has been a city dweller most of his life. However, his involvement in Boarding at Knox means that he travels   extensively throughout rural areas, as well as overseas.

Wanted to be an archaeologist , but became an English, Drama and History teacher.  Involved in curriculum development in the UK and Australia, as well as teacher development in both countries and interested in all fields of human knowledge and expression
