Youth Justice in NSW: Why children are treated differently’

Peter Johnstone has been serving as the President of the Children’s Court of New South Wales since 2012.

The Children’s Court has jurisdiction in respect of youth crime (crimes committed by children aged from 10 to 17) and child protection (in respect of children at risk of significant harm from parental abuse or neglect).
