The Club members were not only impressed, but moved by the incredible and harrowing rescue experiences  from Detective Chief Inspector Gary Raymond APM, OAM (Ret’d)--Gary's brave and emotional account of the amazing work he was involved with in his many rescues serving NSW communities--underlined his dedicated service with the NSW Ambulance, Police Rescue, as a Detective, Duty Officer, now Chaplain Police Post Trauma Support & Welfare Office--he performed 1500 rescues, of which 1,000 were motor vehicle collision rescues, 200 vertical rescues and 200 suicide crisis negotiation retrievals--a full account of his heroic exploits is in the Club Bulletin
