Dear Rotary member, last year's appeal was very successful - I welcome your support again for this worthy cause.
For the last several years, local Rotary Clubs have worked together in raising funds for a literacy program at Moree East Public School called “Books in Homes”. Nearly 90% of the students at the school come from the local Aboriginal community. The program has had a profound positive effect on the literacy skills of the students.
One of the fund-raising activities has been the sale of delicious puddings from Pudding Lane.
