The Rotary Club of Wahroonga is pleased to present the film Ride Like a Girl.
Ride Like a Girl is the inspirational true story of Michele Payne - the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup. This event is in support of Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign.
Our Special guest for this film event is Martin McGrath, one of Australia’s most experienced cinematographers who will speak about the film and working with director Rachel Griffiths, the challenges and highlights of shooting the film, and he will bring some special footage as well.
The film will run at the Event Cinemas in Hornsby on Sunday 15th September from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
