With COVID-19, the Youth Committee suddenly found they had limited opportunities to raise funds especially when our main fundraiser, NOVUS Foundation, had to cancel the 2020 Dinner.
We decided to raise funds with a Silent Auction and we assembled 23 items from our various sources. The Committee consisted of Christine Biddle, Mariela and Barbara Salisch and Bob Howe.
People were wonderful and they donated all sorts of items such as a Five Star weekend getaway, a Sapphire ring and lots of local products. The auction was opened for a month from 07 October to 07 November.
