A damp day expected for San RunforLife

After a day and night of heavy rain we woke early to an overcast and damp day--BUT the rain held off --what a relief to organisers and participants.

Almost 800 runners braved the elements  (160+ registering on the morning) and a successful event went ahead on time at 7.00am. Our club excelled in manning the BBQ and fed a hungry group of runners. Several local political entrants including--Paul Fletcher,Jonathan O'Dea, Alister Heskens, Matt Keane, Damian Tudehope (Epping) and Ku-ring-gai Mayor Cheryl Szatow brought her family to join the event.
