This week another of our hard working Rotarians has taken to the airwaves--Dr Anne Prescott was invited by Rtn Ian Stuart (Turramurra Rotary) to join him on his weekly programme on 2HHH 100.1 --"Rotary Matters".
Many of our current members (and wives) have been involved over the years on the ground in several countries associated with a range of International projects.
Dr Anne Prescott, Richard Jackson, Richard Pitt, Jo Karaolis, David Russell, Rob Giacometti, Jim Fulton and Joan Giacometti and Jan Cameron to name a few-apologies to anyone omitted

Anne describes the many humanitarian projects she has undertaken in countries devastated by natural disaster. The earthquake in Nepal, the tsunami in Sri Lanka. Education and teacher training has been her primary focus in helping these communities rebuild and recover. Other projects supported by Wahroonga Rotary Club include the Starfish Foundation in Cambodia, Didi's Day in Mongolia and the Kopanang Women's Cooperative in Sth Africa. Co presented by Peter Crawley and Ian Stuart --Rotary Matters
